From 4 June to 17 July 2009 Quaritch will be holding an exhibition to mark the double anniversary of the birth of Edward FitzGerald (1809-1883), and the publication of Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam by Bernard Quaritch in 1859.  Items from the Quaritch archive will be featured, documenting Bernard Quaritch's own forty-year involvement with the book, and the poem's rise from complete obscurity to international publishing phenomenon.  Opening times are Monday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30.
