We can provide valuations of books, libraries, manuscripts and archives for probate and insurance purposes as well as for negotiated sale. We offer advice and assistance on individual items and collections eligible for conditional exemption from United Kingdom taxation and for acceptance in lieu of inheritance tax.

Libraries and institutions throughout the world have been actively acquiring literary and historical archives for several decades. Fees are calculated either on a per diem basis or on a fixed fee basis. We will be pleased to quote specific costs after discussing the scope and nature of proposed work.
