Bridson and Dyment had known each since the 1930s, when they both contributed to the same periodicals. Enclosed are two hand-made Christmas cards, both undated, containing an autograph manuscript of ‘Saint Augustine at 32’, signed, and a typescript of ‘The Jerboa’, signed.
