A seemingly unrecorded royalist panegyric-cum-almanack, provincially printed at Lille in the wake of the Bourbon Restoration.

The brief preface suggests that this is the third such work published by Lefort, compiling contemporary documents – addresses and letters by Louis XVI, a speech by Pius VI decrying his execution, and a newspaper extract – woven together by a prose narrative giving an account of the Revolution and of Louis’s execution and arguing for his status as a martyr. The text is followed by an almanack, the ‘Calendrier pour l’an de grace M. DCCC. XVII.’ giving feast days and phases of the moon, eclipses and planets, and prefaced by details of the members of the House of Bourbon.
